MSInS Logo Design Competition

Maharashtra has been the primary Centre for commercial, financial and industrial activity in India for decades. It is one of the largest states in India, both in terms of area as well as population, and a home to two out of three Indian cities in the top 100 inventive clusters of the world. Contributing nearly 15% of India’s GDP, Maharashtra is the most entrepreneurial state in India and has been at the forefront of economic growth.

The Maharashtra State Innovation Society (MSInS) came into existence on 18th August 2017. It has been established under Department of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of Maharashtra as a World-Class Innovation Ecosystem. The MSInS would act as nodal agency to boost innovation driven performance and efficiency in every sector.

The main objective of the Society is to provide Innovation Promotion Platform to academics, entrepreneurs, researchers and Government drawing upon national and international experiences to foster a culture of innovation in the State. With the formation of the Society, the Government of Maharashtra aims to boost grass root innovations to benefit the population at large in the state and contribute towards minimization of the economic divides in the State.

A holistic approach would be adopted to create an entrepreneurial ecosystem within the state that would entail establishing a network of incubators, cultivating entrepreneurial mind-sets among students and connecting relevant stakeholders across the ecosystem. The Government will support the entrepreneurs by simplifying the regulatory environment for start-ups.

MSInS invites citizens to design the logo for the Society, to represent the spirit of innovation, collaboration and dynamism envisioned for an innovation-driven entrepreneurial ecosystem.

The last date of submission is 26th December 2017 at midnight.

The winning entry will be awarded a cash prize of Fifty Thousand Rupees only.
