Irregular monsoons over an extended period have resulted in frequent water scarcity for the agricultural sector. While prompt relief in times of scarcity must be provided, long-term measures to ensure prevention of such situations must be taken.
Government has decided to implement multiple programs for water conservation in an integrated manner with convergence across all the concerned departments. ”Jalyukt Shivar Abhiyan” has been launched to make Maharashtra drought free by 2019. We aim to make five thousand villages drought free in the 1st year of the Abhiyan.

राज्यात अनेक शहरात शासनाद्वारे घेतलेले सार्वजनिक बोअर आहेत.सध्या महाराष्ट्रातील खालावत असलेल्या पाणी पातळीसाठी उपाययोजना म्हणून सर्व सार्वजनिक विंधनविहरींचे शासनामार्फत पुनर्भरण व्हावे. त्यासाठी त्या त्या शहरातील पक्क्या इमारतीचा पुनर्भरनासाठी वापर होऊ शकतो काय ? आणि त्या इमारतीवर पडणारे पावसाचे पाणी प्रक्रिया करून पाईपद्वारे सार्वजनिक बोअर मध्ये शासनाद्वारे पुढाकार घेवून सोडण्यात येवू शकते काय? ह्याबद्दल विचार व्हावा अशी विनंती मी आपल्याला ह्या पोर्टलद्वारे करीत आहे

i have a dream project for water harvesting in hot summer to harvest unaccounted or unidentified water in our day to day life to make around minimum of 12 crore liters of water daily in Maharashtra which can be used for agriculture directly. Please find the attached PDF for more details.

सर, महाराष्ट्र राज्याच्या वाट्याला आलेल्या १२६ घन किमी पाण्यापैकी ५५ टक्के पाणी हे कोकणातील नद्यांमध्ये असुन, ते पाणी अडवुन कृष्णा व गोदावरी या खोऱ्यात वळविण्यासाठी योजना हाती घेणे योग्य राहील. कोयना, मुळशी आदी जलविद्युत प्रकल्पांचे पाणी समुद्राला मिळते, ते वळविण्यासाठी योजना हाती घ्यावी. समुद्रकिणाऱ्यावरील नगरांना Desalination तत्वातुन पाणी शुध्दीकरण करुन पुरविण्याबाबत योजना हाती घ्यावी. कालव्यांचे पाईप नेटवर्क मध्ये रुपांतर करावे. लहान तलावांना मोठ्या धरणातुन पाणी पुरवठा करावा.

I live in the area of Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal corporation. I have seen here people are wasting too much water for washing their cars and watering their lawns. On the other hand in some areas people don't have water to drink. So please issues some guidelines about water usage so that people can save water and use it wisely

Dear Sir,
We are manufacturing EPDM based LINER that are being used globally to store water in very large extra size lakes and ponds . With greater awareness and successful usage outside India, this EPDM based liners are more knownand popular which is used for water conservation.
Being domicile of Maharashtra, we would like that our state must use EPDM based liners for its use to store water that will help to overcome water shortage crises all across. Sensible quick decision will help.

Water being the most discussed resource in Maharashtra and other Part of the world , I have a request that , It should be mandated by law , water to be used for flush at toilets need to be the water obtained from waste water treatment plant . A family in cities consume more water for flush than the drinking ,cooking and bath . Usage of Clean drinking water for flush should be a crime considering the current situation .
