Irregular monsoons over an extended period have resulted in frequent water scarcity for the agricultural sector. While prompt relief in times of scarcity must be provided, long-term measures to ensure prevention of such situations must be taken.
Government has decided to implement multiple programs for water conservation in an integrated manner with convergence across all the concerned departments. ”Jalyukt Shivar Abhiyan” has been launched to make Maharashtra drought free by 2019. We aim to make five thousand villages drought free in the 1st year of the Abhiyan.

आज हि परिस्थिती भीषण आहे व भविष्यात ती अशीच भीषण होईल यात शंकाच नाही.
पण घाबरण्याचे कारण नाही.

Honestly speaking at ground no gram sabhas are not happening at larges portion of rural maharashtra. Sarpanch never wanted to haapen
Even if government are giving too many beneficial schemes to tackle drought like situation until and unless corruption stops no scheme will be fully utilized. Please make strong rules and regulation regarding corruption as government is doing through aaplesarkar portal. gramsevak and sarpanch should encourage people about water conservation and harvesting.

1there should be solar panels on rivers to prevent them from absorbtion like you did on sabarmati 2water meters of each household like electricity and according to the usage of water per house,bill should be taken,and on excessive use of water strict action must be taken 3All kind of roads be it highway, Street etc both the sides of d Road trees should be planted on a compulsory note 4each society must have a rain water harvesting plant 5recycling used water

शासनाच्या माध्यमातून दुष्काळ मुक्त महाराष्ट्राचे स्वप्न साकारण्यासाठी अतिशय स्त्युत्य उपक्रम व कार्यक्रम सुरु आहेत. त्याबाबत अभिनंदन. याच जोडीला ग्रामीण भागात जल सुरक्षितता प्रस्थापित करण्यासाठी पुढील उपाययोजना कराव्यात.
पिण्याच्या पाण्यासाठी गावात गावतळे निर्माण करणे – टंचाई सदृश काळात पिण्याचे पाणी हि मोठी समस्या निर्माण होत असते अशा काळात दुष्काळाचे नियोजन करणे अवघड जाते त्यामुळे प्रत्येक गावात पिण्याच्या पाण्यासाठी आरक्षित असणारे शिवकालीन तलावांच्या धर्तीवर गावतळे तयार करण्यासाठी योजना

Dear Sir if we built water tanks below all railway platforms and store/harvest water in that we can with connection to main pipe line we can easily solve this problem and also we should be looking towards making solar-panel that could be used in all buildings covered with glass and windows of all housing societies so that we can generate solar electricity and reduce burden on coal and other fossil fuel resources
