Irregular monsoons over an extended period have resulted in frequent water scarcity for the agricultural sector. While prompt relief in times of scarcity must be provided, long-term measures to ensure prevention of such situations must be taken.
Government has decided to implement multiple programs for water conservation in an integrated manner with convergence across all the concerned departments. ”Jalyukt Shivar Abhiyan” has been launched to make Maharashtra drought free by 2019. We aim to make five thousand villages drought free in the 1st year of the Abhiyan.

there are two factories running in lonand maharashtra which manufacture beer and alcohol. they consume more than 15 lakh litres of water per day. i was just crossing from the area where the locals informed me that the govt has still not ordered to shut the factories. sir 15lakh litres is a lot of water,it can be diverted to a dry place. why waste in making things that are not important right now.

Greetings Sir,
Just to put up my suggestion on poor water condition in our state of India Maharashtra, Sir God has given us a huge Arabian sea, why don’t we utilizes the sea water as a drinking water by purifying it, We need to set the plant in the sea near Mumbai city, like we have plant for crude oil production. This idea will cost bit high, but life time water problem will be solve.
Hoping for yours kind attention on above idea.

Firstly,all the politicians involved in the scams relating to building of Dam's should be brought to book. They have caused irreparable damage and are primarily responsible for state of affairs today. Second, get professionals from private sector to implement with no political interference. This will ensure the systemic corruption is eliminated and actually do wonders for the state.
