Irregular monsoons over an extended period have resulted in frequent water scarcity for the agricultural sector. While prompt relief in times of scarcity must be provided, long-term measures to ensure prevention of such situations must be taken.
Government has decided to implement multiple programs for water conservation in an integrated manner with convergence across all the concerned departments. ”Jalyukt Shivar Abhiyan” has been launched to make Maharashtra drought free by 2019. We aim to make five thousand villages drought free in the 1st year of the Abhiyan.

All our available drinking water resources are drying fast due to high temperatures. I feel, this is the right time to remove all mud accumulated so that the depth and width of these natural resources can be increased to accommodate more water in rainy season. Stored water can then quench the thirst of crores of people in the year to come. This will also prevent the water from going waste. The mud removed from these resources can be used for farming so as to cultivate typical crops as required.

Maharashtra is facing acute drought this year. Our dams have become dry, and storage is observed as low as 10% to 20%
Weather forecasts of this year monsoon seems to be good than previous year.
My humble request to our Chief Minister is to allocate our resources for cleaning and de silting of already dry dams to increase its storage capacity, giving jobs for local people, use of clay for bricks & agri purpose, repairs of dams at upstream, saving in funds that could of occurred at 40% storage.

आदरणीय महोदय
आपण सांडपाण्या च्या ठिकाणी water purify प्लान्ट उभारून तेच पाणी पुन्हा वापरा लायक बनऊ शकतो. म्हणजेच त्याच पाण्या पासून आपण काही टक्के तरी शेती साठी आणि लोकांसाठी ते वापरू शकतो आणि त्या प्लान्ट ला सौर ऊर्जे चा वापर करुण त्याचा विद्युत चा खर्च वाचवु शकतो. आम्ही हा प्रकल्प तयार केला आहे.
आपण आगर हा प्रकल्प प्रत्येक जिल्ह्यात हा राबविला तर त्या जिल्ह्याच्या पाणी साठा मधून काही गावांना पाणी पुरवठा करून दुष्काळ मुक्त करता येईल.

Hi PM,an environment issue if govt take an initiative to do farming on govt land that hold by state & central govt in different part of India or to make fertile land with different trees,that will help to spread greenery on open land or shortage of food in different rural areas,more oxygen & good quality of air in environment .For that govt should have farming dept.so that govt will have benefit on farming product,that will help our environment to give more rain,reduce pollution etc.tx.

नदी जोड प्रकल्प राबवणे खूप गरजेचे असून यातून महाराष्ट्रालाच नाही तर देशातील बऱ्याच भागातील लोकांना फायदा होणार आहे. नदीजोड प्रकल्प हा कायस्वरूपी पर्याय असावा असे मला वयक्तिक तरी वाटते. तसेच पाणी चोरी सारख्या गोष्टीवर कडक निर्बंध लावणे हि गरजेचे वाटते.
