Hon’ble Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has launched the 'Make in India' campaign with the goal of making India a global manufacturing hub. India's GDP can grow at the rate of 8% only if Maharashtra grows at 10%. With this objective, government has taken up a mission to increase the 'ease of doing business' in the state. We have already reduced the number of licenses and permissions needed to establish a business in the state. We look forward to your suggestions on initiatives needed to bring in greater investment and further improve the business environment in Maharashtra.

I would like to bring an attention to the fact that many neighbouring states of Maharashtra including Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Gujarat Telangana are competing to bring the Industries and Investments from Maharashtra as they feel they can seize the oppurtunity easily and for this the other state has offered many waivers, easy clearences and land at low prices. The govt should try to protect business and industries in state and keep check on the activities of other states too.

The stamp duty amounts are very high particularly for immovable properties and various contracts: 1. Need to apply stamp duties ONLY to select transactions and also, put in flat amount (e.g. Rs.100 irrespective of contract value. Payment of stamp duty for every contract, for employee leases, etc. causes hassle to businesses and adds to costs apart from inconvenience. People/ Companies who need to regularly pay stamp duty, should be allowed to pay lump sum & adjust balance(online)against payment.

Dear Sir,
Last week was a golden week for Maharashtra. All your efforts for attracting investments has been fulfilled. No doubt the industries will be provided with good infrastructure. But water availability is the bottle neck. Small projects can not be useful for industrial demands. Why not to work certain water diversion / river linking project with immediate efforts.
Just can try Taapi-Godavari Link?
Because Taapi is overflowing every year and Godavari (Jayakwadi Dam) has deficinecy.
